Why Travel?
People travel for vastly different reasons including work, leisure, and education but despite the different locations and purposes behind these journeys, most will agree that travel is singularly unique and beneficial. Traveling is an extraordinary experience everyone needs to try. It reveals a whole new exciting world out there, it opens out your inner strength, and presents you with unforgettable adventures.
There is nothing quite like traveling, like seeing a new place for the first time or returning to a favorite one. Whether by plane, train, ship or by automobile, traveling is generally a pleasurable experience. Traveling can expand your horizons by letting you experience new things and learning more about what the world has to offer. Visiting places that look a little different, governed by different laws; filled with unfamiliar people who have unique cultures and beliefs, wear unfamiliar clothes, eat exotic foods, and who looks after plants and animals you’ve never even heard of before, is a great way to expand your horizons and perhaps evaluate your own life from new and enlightening perspectives.
Traveling lets you try new experiences as you challenge yourself one step at a time. Travel not only gives you the opportunity to try things you might not be able to do at home but also gives you the drive and confidence to experience them. From conquering fears to checking something off your bucket list, travel can take you from one corner of the globe to another, while creating unforgettable memories in the process. It also provides a little time to disengage from this fast-paced, media-driven world, by enabling you to spend some quality time reconnecting with the earth and, most importantly, with yourself and the relationships that add color to your life.
I have been traveling since I was 16, and I would not have traded it for anything else in the world. The life I got to build because of it has made me the independent woman I am today. It makes me so grateful that my passion has now turned into my life’s work. I fell deeply in love with seeing and experiencing new things and places, and opening up to a whole new culture outside of what I was used to. It’s time to see the world in a different perspective, take that vacation or even a break that your mind, body and soul needs, and allow yourself to let go and let life guide you to the most beautiful places this world has to offer.
