Greenland

This year I had this amazing chance to visit Greenland, I’ve been wanting to visit this place since I watched the movie of Walter Mitty. Iceland was accessible, yes, but Greenland was a different story, I had to wait three years to make this happen.  I went on a 100-year-old boat expedition to East Greenland with 10 people, the trip was quite expensive so no one from my friends wanted to go because it sounded weird to them, they were like why would you want to take us to Greenland. I did not have internet for 10 days, I swear this was the best trip of my life.

Seeing all the icebergs in real life felt like I was with National Geographic team shooting all these places I used to see on television. After all, dreams do come true, I still can't believe I've already been to Greenland. They are melting very fast and I hope the upcoming generations also get a chance to see how beautiful Mother Earth is.

We visited the village of Ittoqqortoormiit, only 400 people live in East Greenland and I was lucky to see them for a day. I made a lot of beautiful memories with the kids who were very happy to see a woman with tattoos and 7 piercings for the first time. Some of them even started to play with my hair. Best moments with these innocent souls, you girls will be in my heart forever and ever.

Early morning shoots with the group, I traveled with professional photographers from around the globe. Our Captain on this ship was a 75-year-old man from Faroe Island, he has been to every country in the world. He started sailing when he was 13, I saw in this eyes how madly he was in love with his job. I really  As I always say, you can't fake passion at all.

Aluu! Ulloq naalluarniariuk!
